If you are planning surgery, you have probably heard about drains: the tubes used during the first days of recovery after many body-contouring operations. For many women, drains are one of the most worrying parts of the process.
The good news is that in many cases surgery can now be performed without them. The technique I use closes internal spaces with progressive sutures during the operation, removing the need for drains.

What Does This Mean in Practice?
- An easier, faster recovery — the body can focus on healing without an external device;
- Lower Risk of Infection — with no external tubes, the area can remain better protected;
- Less inconvenience and discomfort — no drainage bulbs to carry, less hassle when showering and no uncomfortable drain removal.
Is It Suitable for Everyone?
Suitability is determined during the consultation based on the type of procedure and your individual circumstances. Together, we evaluate the complete picture and develop a plan tailored to you.
Please note: every body is different and results vary from patient to patient. Every operation involves a recovery period and risks, which are reviewed in detail during the consultation.
